Elmdon Lodge is located in the south Birmingham suburb of Acocks Green.

Acocks Green has excellent transport links into the centre of Birmingham, to Solihull and to the International Airport and NEC.

The guesthouse is located within a 5 minute walk from the Acocks Green railway station. Central Birmingham and Solihull can be reached by train in around 7 minutes.

Acocks Green is served by numerous bus routes, including the Outer Circle (11a / 11c) which is the longest urban bus route in any European city

Getting to Elmdon Lodge by train:

Acocks Green and the hotel is a 10 minute journey from Moor St. railway station in Birmingham. Take a train bound for Dorridge and do check it stops at Acocks Green. If taking a train from London Euston then it is easier to debark at Birmingham International. Birmingham International is a fifteen - twenty minute taxi ride from Elmdon Lodge.

Driving to Elmdon Lodge from London or the South East:

• From the M1 northbound ‘Aylesbury, The North’
• Leave the motorway at Junction 19 and go straight ahead for M6 (direction Birmingham, Coventry [North], [M6] The North-West)
• Leave the M6 at Junction 3 and go straight ahead onto the M42 (direction Solihull [M42], Lichfield, N.E.C and Airport)
• Leave the M42 at Junction 6 and go straight ahead for the A45 (Coventry Road) towards ‘[A45] Birmingham (SE), Train Station and Airport’ and straight on to join
• YOU ARE NOW ENTERING BIRMINGHAM
• At the roundabout on Coventry Road take the first exit the A4040 Yardley Road
• Turn left onto the B4146 Yardley Road
• Turn left onto Elmdon Road
• Elmdon Lodge is on your left hand side

Driving to Elmdon Lodge from the M6 Southbound

• Leave the M6 at Junction 6 and carry straight on to the A38[m] in the direction of ‘Lichfield, B’ham (E & Cen) and B’ham (NE)
• YOU ARE NOW ENTERING BIRMINGHAM
• Leave the A38[m] and carry straight on to A5127 (Aston Road) direction ‘Ring Road’
• Take the first exit off ‘Dartmouth Circus’ roundabout onto the A4540 (Dartmouth Middleway)• After 1.5 miles take the second exit off the ‘Bordesley Circus’ roundabout onto the A45 (Small Heath Highway)
• Carry straight onto the Coventry Road and at the roundabout go straight ahead
• After 135 yards, take the third exit off the roundabout onto the A4040 (Yardley Road)
• Turn left onto the B4146 Yardley Road
• Turn left onto Elmdon Road
• Elmdon Lodge is on your left hand side

Driving to Elmdon Lodge from the West of the UK:

• From the M5 direction ‘Worcester, B’ham, [M5] The Midlands
• Leave the M5 and join the M42 at Junction 4a (Redditch, N.E.C and Airport, London [via M40], [M42] The North-East, B’ham (S & E)
• Leave the M42 ath Junction 5 and go straight on to the A41 (Solihull Bypass) direction ‘[A41] Solihull’
• Continue on to the A41 ‘ Solihull Bypass’ - ‘Warwick Road’
• YOU ARE NOW ENTERING BIRMINGHAM
• Turn right onto the B4146 ‘Dudley Park Road’ leading to ‘Yardley Road’
• Turn right onto Elmdon Road
• Elmdon Lodge is on your left hand side
